Winter is the peak period for the use of heat exchangers and radiators, and maintenance and replacement are essential. Recently, Qingli has received many orders for replacement of air radiators/heat exchangers. Many customers, friends or installation companies generally only measure one size and shoot. Send a photo to inquire and let us do it.
Most ignore the most important piece of data to measure, guess what?
Air radiator replacement key points:
The replacement of the heat exchanger not only requires the heat exchange efficiency to meet the working conditions, but also the most important thing is that it can be installed. Some equipment is installed in the air duct, or in the box with limited installation, the overall size of the equipment, and the interface location is particularly important.
The easiest to overlook, but a very important point is the interface center distance.
Because we often go to the customer's site to replace the radiator/heat exchanger for the customer, so let's explain the actual case:
If the size of the interface is different from the original size during replacement, the installation will be very difficult, and the upper and lower interfaces will not match. How do you want to install it on site?
Change the original takeover height?
Then it is very troublesome to connect the elbow to change the diameter and so on. If it is much worse, you can use the elbow to change the diameter. If the difference is only 10mm, the elbow is difficult to do. If the takeover is too short to match, it will not be installed at all. So, you can understand the importance of the center distance of the interface.
Specifically how to measure it, especially if the interface is not on the same vertical plane and the front and rear are dislocated, our project specially made a schematic diagram of the measurement with the real object, as follows:
The year is over, has your heat exchanger been overhauled and replaced?
Radiator key measurement data
1. Measure the distance from all interfaces to the upper frame side and the left/right frame side;
2. Measure the diagonal center distance between the two interfaces;
3. To measure the vertical center distance between the two interfaces, two people are required to cooperate with the measurement, and a flat plate is used as an extension;
4. To measure the size of the interface, the conventional ones are flanges and wire ports. The flange also needs to pay attention to measuring the specific diameter, outer diameter, size and position of the hole, because the standard of the flange may be different, and it needs to be compared;
When replacing the radiator/heat exchanger, our point of view is that the more data measurements, the better, and the more detailed the better, all to ensure the replacement and installation of subsequent equipment.
There is also a boiler economizer replacement that also requires special attention to the size of the tuyere flange and the original hole position, size, and center distance.
In addition to the one point mentioned above, there are other general points to pay attention to in overhaul and replacement, please continue to pay attention to us: Custom Evaporator Coils.
